THANK YOU LORD.
I realize that nothing gives me greater pleasure and happiness
than the chance to serve you Lord.
I want to proclaim your name to the entire world!
Lord, I wish to expand your territory,
where ever you bring me to,
Lord, I want to glorify your name and spread your gospel there.
:DD
I trust in your powers,
more than I believe in myself,
so no matter how impossible the situation may seem,
I fully believe that you will be able to overturn it.

When we go about with our lives,
we often focus on the wrong things,
and we forget what is most important in our lives.
When we or the people around us,
fall below our expectations,
we get frustrated with ourselves and displeased with others.
Philippians 1:12 says, "...that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel."
So, when we complain about the troubles we face in our life,
let's think of the possibility of the influence we can have on others,
that we can actually be a living testimony of God.
Sometimes, we may also feel that some Christians do not seem to be leading an entirely holy life,
but no matter the ways that they carry out evangelism,
"Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice." (Philippians 1:18)
Let's just remember that the most crucial thing, is that
"[we] will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death." (Philippians 1:20),
in other words, to glorify His name.

What is your passion in life?
The purpose you have in this life is important,
but having the passion to fulfill this purpose is essential too.
2 Corinthians 5:11-21 says it well,
We are "Christ's ambassadors" and "for Christ's love compels us",
therefore we are "committed the message of reconciliation".
Apostle Paul's passion was to "persuade men",
because he knew he was answerable to God and he wanted to give a good testimony on the day of judgment,
God loved him first and died for his sins, so he wanted to share this love with others,
and this degenerating world needs God.
Let us remember our purpose on this Earth,
and be urged to spread the gospel
because we love God and everyone else.
-12:17 AM
Let me not follow me own heart,
but may your will be done.
Do not let others criticize your words or actions,
but let them ask, "Why are you different from the rest?"
when they see you shining in the midst of this corrupted world.
Take everything in life, whether joys or tribulations,
to be part of the process where you mature into a better Christian.

I'm going through a period of standstill in my life.
This empty space, between the end of college life and the beginning of university.
It's a long 9months.
My whole life has been prepared for me, in the academic sense,
I never have to worry about what to study, where to study,
because it is as if there is no other course I should take.
But now comes the problem.
I have to decide on what university courses to take,
and this is such a huge step,
because it is going to determine my career, my entire life.
There is so much to do, university and scholarship applications.
And I'm so worried of not doing the right things,
I need God to guide my life for me.
Prayer list:
1. Wisdom in choosing the right course for university, which will lead to a career that I would enjoy doing in the future.
2. Wisdom and talent in writing good essays for university and scholarship applications.
3. Able to get into the right course and getting the best scholarship that you would want me to do.
4. Having a smooth and fun experience at work.
5. Be closer to my church mates.
Thank-you list:
1. Good grades for A levels.
2. Getting a job that I really enjoy doing.
3. Being able to be closer to my church mates, and be more proactive in church.
4. Finally going to get baptised! and having educational baptism classes.
5. For who you have made me to be.
Lord, I thank you that you've been there for me my whole life,
never leaving me even though I've often strayed from your ways.
Thanks for your often promptings to stop me from sinning,
and showering me with so much blessings that I do not deserve.
Lord, I believe strongly that if I have the faith of a mustard seed,
I can do anything, even the impossible,
because I have you, the Almighty God,
who is omnipotent and capable of everything.
I trust that for what I'm insufficient in, you will fill those spaces,
because as long as I've you by my side, nothing can be against me.

Very often, we are put down by the setbacks we face in our life.
Hopes diminished, we feel that there's really no way out of this sorrow.
It's hard to see the future from where we are standing,
and we don't know where to go from here.
But the Bible comforts us in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18,
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
Earthly sorrows may pull us down for a period of time,
but we will have everlasting joy once we enter the gates of Heaven.
By the time, what we have underwent, is no longer important,
and we will acknowledge that they have been there as stepping stones to our maturity.
When we start thinking of the pain we have to go through,
let's focus our eyes on God, and the Heaven He has prepared for us,
a place we can dwell in happiness, forever.

Why do we only approach God whenever we need help?
We have fun every day of our lives,
putting God aside completely
until we come across a stumbling block
that causes us to fall back and realize how helpless we are.
We so easily forget God's existence in our lives,
because it is He who is there with us every single moment,
showering us with blessings we can never ever repay or thank him enough for.
Only when we meet an obstacle,
do we realize our immense need for God.
I feel so disgusted with myself whenever I behave in such a manner,
but I usually feel so because I suddenly realize God's importance in my life,
and I have been very much out of line.
I hate it whenever I do not abide by His will,
but runs back to Him whenever I need help.
I feel so undeserving.

For everything, Thank You, Lord.
for the results.
I must admit I am a tad disappointed.
Not with God, but more with myself.
Why didn't I study more?
Have my priorities been different,
as in have I got wrong what determines my value in life?
Enough said, we all have to move on from here.
What's ahead, I have to entrust into your hands once again, O Lord.
I thank you for everything you have done for me,
for being by my side for more than 18years of my life now. Thanks.
I just pray that you make clear and carve my future for me. Amen
-12:58 PM
Right now, I don't know anything before me.
And so, I put everything into the hands of my Heavenly Father,
my hopes and dreams.
But I'm in a turmoil.
I suddenly wonder what is giving your whole to our Lord,
does that include the possibility of the alternative answer?
I don't dare to ask,
because I'm afraid my impure thoughts may include myself,
and not the sole purpose of glorifying his name.
Lord, I want so much.
but I'm afraid.
It's not that I don't trust,
but I'm afraid of failing, (is that a contradiction in itself?)
because you may have another purpose for me.
But Lord, I still pray, that I get 5As.

-9:40 AM
Lord, 3 little things I would like to put into prayer.
1. I pray that you provide me the capability to lead and change the youths.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of the committee, now is my turn to do work.
2. I pray for my A level results, which will be released tomorrow.
I don't want it to use glorifying you to be an cover-up for my desire to do well. I pray that my wish to glorify your name will exceed everything else. But Lord, I want to do well, to go to where others have not gone, and to expand your territory.
3. I pray that you let me find a stable job soon, something that I would love doing and is decently-paid.
Lord, I really believe, that you are able to do everything and anything.
Do not let doubt prevent me from seeing and knowing your true power.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.
-9:10 AM
I feel so overwhelmed right now,
with so many things to say I don't know where to start.
Okay, I know: THANK YOU LORD.
I feel so undeserving and unholy,
but you have given me so much more than what I deserve,
and way more than what I have asked from you.
It's scary, sometimes, to hold such a huge burden,
and to feel so responsible for others.
But, in a way, I wanted it in the first place, to lead, and to have some say.
Lord, how is it that you allow people to see my masked potential (I hope there really is),
my capability and desire to serve?
I'm usually so quiet in church, and yet, the moment I start praying about it,
like getting involved in church and being close to the youths,
you slowly pave the way for me.
I wonder if I am up to the duties you have assigned to me
or the life you want me to lead,
but I believe in this,
like what you said to Moses when he felt incapable of speaking and convincing the crowd due to his ineloquence,
"
Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say." (Exodus 4:11-12).
Lord I trust that when you send me,
you will provide me the necessaries and be there with me.
I admit sometimes I have so little faith in you, the Almighty.
Matthew 17:19-20 writes, "
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, 'Why could we not cast it out?' He said to them, 'Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
Nothing is impossible for you, let me learn to trust wholeheartedly in you Lord.
I want to do work for you.
